A Passion for Teaching and Sports
How I Learn from Different Teaching Systems as a PE Educator
Hello and welcome to my personal website! My name is Jakub Sevcovic and I am a PE educator and a sports enthusiast. I have two master degrees in teaching from UJEP (Czechia) and NEU (China) universities and I have over 15 years of teaching experience in primary, middle, high school, university, and adult education. I have taught in different countries, such as the Czech Republic, Denmark, and China, and I have learned a lot from their diverse teaching systems and cultures.
About me
One of my passions is to organize sport events that promote physical activity, health, and social interaction among students and communities. I have organized various sport events in the schools and regions where I have taught. I have also participated in the preparation for the winter Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 in cross-country skiing events.
On this website, you will find more information about my teaching philosophy, my teaching methods, my sport events, and my involvement in the pre Olympic XC Ski events in China. I have always been passionate about physical education and sports, and I enjoyed working as a PE teacher at various educational institutions for 15 years. I worked in different middle schools, high schools and even taught in private sector in Czechia, Denmark and China, where I gained valuable experience and insights into different teaching methods and cultures. However, I felt that I wanted to challenge myself more and explore new opportunities in the field of sports science.
